Medium-duty vermiculite cloth (DSZMDWB2.4, 900–1000 °C) is built for everyday fabrication sparks. Foundry and mill slag loads usually need the heavy DSZVCF family with higher listed windows and heavier GSM builds.
Using a fire blanket as a casting-floor spark mat

Stretching FG insulation past its listed window
Fiberglass cloths, tapes, and ropes typically list through about 550–900 °C by model. Furnace programmes that sit above that band need Ceramic Products with verified 1000–1760 or 1260–1760 °C windows.
