Signature Aluminium Coat — aluminium-coated, silver, free-size body PPE for fire-suit and high-heat work. Models DSZALC.2L to DSZALC.5L (2–5 layers). Working temperature 700 °C to 900 °C. Sold per piece.

  • Reflective aluminium coating for radiant-heat industrial environments
  • Choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 layers to match foundry, steel, and fire-suit duty

Description

When furnaces, sparks, and radiant heat sit next to the operator, body PPE has to work as hard as the process. Signature Aluminium Coat is industrial heat-protective clothing for fire-suit and aluminized accessory programmes — a reflective outer layer that helps keep crews in the heat zone without guessing the specification.

Every coat uses an aluminium coating in a clean silver finish. The coating is there to deflect radiant energy away from the torso, arms, and upper legs so the wearer can stay on furnace, ladle, pour, and hot-fabrication tasks with a documented working temperature of 700 °C to 900 °C.

Protection is specified by layer count, not by vague “heavy duty” language. Four models cover the range: DSZALC.2L (2 layers, about 5 kg), DSZALC.3L (3 layers, about 6 kg), DSZALC.4L (4 layers, about 7 kg), and DSZALC.5L (5 layers, about 8 kg). Step up layers when the duty demands more mass; stay lighter when mobility and shift length matter.

Cut is free size so stores can stock one body pattern per layer model. Unit of sale is NOS (per piece). Weight is listed as approximate on each variant — useful for kit planning, not a substitute for a fit check at the cuff, hem, and closure.

Signature coats sit in the same Fire-Suit & Accessories line as aluminized gloves and aprons. Specify the coat as the body layer, then complete the ensemble from site procedure — the coat is not a full proximity suit by itself, and it is not the back-open coat SKU.

Procurement and HSE buyers choose Signature for named models, consistent coating, and layer options that map to plant PPE matrices. Call out DSZALC.2L through DSZALC.5L on the indent: aluminium coating, silver, free size, 700 °C to 900 °C working temperature, manufactured under the Signature brand by Darshan Safety Zone.

For foundry floors, steel shops, glass plants, and other high-heat process areas, this is work-ready body PPE with specs you can write into a purchase order — not a generic silver jacket with no model trail.

Who needs this

  • Foundry and casting operators on furnace, ladle, and pour work
  • Steel plant and hot-fabrication crews beside radiant heat and sparks
  • Glass and high-temperature process teams specified for aluminized body PPE
  • Fire-suit / proximity programmes that need a matching aluminium-coated coat
  • HSE and procurement leads standardizing coats on DSZALC.2L–DSZALC.5L

Where it is used

  • Foundries and metal casting floors
  • Steel mills and hot fabrication bays
  • Glass and other high-heat process plants
  • Refinery and industrial heat zones where aluminized coats are specified
  • Fire-suit accessory kits on sites that stock Signature PPE

Features

  • Aluminium coating — silver reflective finish
  • 2 to 5 layers — four named models
  • Working temperature 700 °C to 900 °C
  • Free size — stock one cut per layer model
  • Weight about 5–8 kg by layer count
  • Models DSZALC.2L–DSZALC.5L — sold per piece

Use cases

  • Foundries and metal casting — furnace, ladle, and pour work with radiant heat at the body
  • Steel plants and heavy fabrication — hot-material handling and spark-heavy bays
  • Glass and high-temperature process — line-side body PPE where aluminium coating is specified
  • Fire-suit accessory kits — coat as the body layer with gloves and aprons from site procedure
  • Plant PPE standardization — four SKUs by layer so stores, contractors, and shift replacements share one naming scheme

How to use

  1. Select the layer model (DSZALC.2L to DSZALC.5L) that matches site heat duty and acceptable coat weight.
  2. Put on the free-size coat; check cuff, hem, and closure before entering the heat zone.
  3. Wear with aluminized gloves and other accessories required by the site PPE procedure.
  4. Inspect the aluminium coating and seams after use; replace the coat if damaged or worn through.
