When the face should not be silicone
This cloth is the silicone-coated roll. Plain fiberglass cloth is the uncoated wrap. Graphite FG cloth is the black graphite face. Each is its own product, cut to length and width and sold per square metre.
Match thickness and coating to the shop job
The thin builds, 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm, flex for curtains and wrap. From 1.0 mm the cloth holds shape for shields and covers. From 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm it is the heavy cloth for covers that are handled. Every row is ordered on the same product page.

Darshan Safety Zone is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer. Signature Silicon FG Cloth is made at our Ahmedabad factory and sent to the address on the order. Odhav, Naroda, Vatva and Sanand do not have a Darshan Safety Zone counter, dealer or shelf. The models do not list a product standard.
Our shipping and delivery policy gives India courier ranges only as estimates: about 1 to 2 business days to handle the order, then about 1 to 3 days for a local Ahmedabad address, 2 to 5 days within Gujarat, and 3 to 7 days for the rest of India. The quotation confirms dispatch. Bulk cuts follow the production schedule on that quotation.

Which thickness holds a Naroda heat shield or a cover that comes off the equipment?
From 1.0 mm the cloth holds shape for a shield or a cover that stays in service. DSZSFG1.0 is 1.0 mm and 970 GSM. DSZSFG1.5 is 1.5 mm and 1600 GSM. DSZSFG2.0 is 2.0 mm and 2200 GSM. DSZSFG3.0 is 3.0 mm and 2000 GSM. All four list 650 °C to 900 °C, with adhesive coating listed as no. The 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm cloth is the heavy build for covers that are handled and refitted.
Does a thicker cloth raise the listed temperature?
No. DSZSFG0.3, at 0.3 mm and 340 GSM, lists 550 °C to 800 °C. DSZSFG0.4, at 0.4 mm and 460 GSM, lists 550 °C to 900 °C. From DSZSFG0.5 through DSZSFG3.0, and on DSZSFG800, the listed range is 650 °C to 900 °C. Thickness and GSM change the cloth. They do not lift the upper figure past 900 °C.
When does an Odhav curtain need both-side coating?
Single side is enough when one face sits against a frame or a fixed surface and only the outer face sees sparks and handling. Both side is the coating when either face can be outward: a curtain that is turned, a cover that is flipped, or a wrap where you cannot guarantee which side ends up outside. Every DSZSFG model lists single side or both side.
Which models list an adhesive face?
DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8 list adhesive coating as no or yes. DSZSFG0.6, DSZSFG1.0, DSZSFG1.5, DSZSFG2.0, DSZSFG3.0 and DSZSFG800 list adhesive coating as no. Say yes or no on the quotation for the four models that offer it. The listing does not publish a peel strength.
How do we order a curtain or a shield by the metre?
Pick the DSZSFG model, then enter length and width in metres. The cloth is cut to that size and priced per square metre. The 1 × 50 m figure, or 1 × 30 m on DSZSFG3.0, is a reference roll, not a minimum. The product is not customizable, so the ten listed builds are the catalogue. Name colour as well: grey, red or black on every model, and green on DSZSFG0.6 only.
Our store already buys DSZSFG blankets and tape. Is this the same cloth?

Plain Signature Fiberglass Cloth is white uncoated E-glass, for wrap that sits under cladding and is not handled. Move to this silicone-coated cloth when the face sees sparks, oil, damp or repeated fitting. Signature Graphite FG Cloth is black, both-side graphite coated, when the specification calls for a graphite face. Its listed temperature changes by DSZGF model. Read each product’s own figures.
What is DSZSFG800, and why is DSZSFG3.0 lighter than DSZSFG2.0?
DSZSFG800 is named by weight: 800 GSM, listed at 650 °C to 900 °C, with no thickness on the specification. Do not assign it a millimetre figure. DSZSFG2.0 is 2.0 mm and 2200 GSM. DSZSFG3.0 is 3.0 mm and 2000 GSM, and its reference roll is 1 × 30 m. Both weights are the listed figures.
