Before a pair enters the heat zone, look over the aluminum face and the seams, and confirm the fingers still flex. Retire the pair when the coating is cracked, peeled or worn through, when a seam has opened, or when the gloves have stiffened. Store them dry, away from oil and sharp edges. DSZALHG is also a different product from Signature Aluminum FG Cloth, which is insulation fabric sold by the square metre for lagging, not a glove.

Odhav, Naroda, Vatva, Rakhial and Tribhuvan do not have a Darshan Safety Zone counter, dealer or shelf. Being in the same city as the factory does not mean a same-day collection.

What does the 14 inch length cover during a pour?
The wrist and the lower forearm. Reaching for a ladle shank or a skim rod leaves that stretch of arm toward the heat. DSZALHG is a fixed 14 inch size. The product page has no length or width fields, and we do not cut this glove to a custom measurement.
Why specify a five-finger glove for casting work?
Pouring, skimming and lifting a hot casting need each finger on the tool. DSZALHG is a five-finger glove so the wearer can close on a tong, a clamp or a ladle handle. Check that the fingers still flex, and that the aluminum face and seams are intact, before the pair goes into the heat zone.
When should a foundry take a pair out of service?
Retire DSZALHG when the aluminum coating is cracked, peeled or worn through, when a seam has opened, or when the gloves no longer flex cleanly. Check the face and the seams before each entry to the heat zone. Store pairs dry, away from oil and away from sharp edges that scrape the reflective face. A worn face reflects less heat than a sound one.
