Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric · Cilegon

Ceramic fiber fabric for heat wraps on Cilegon steel equipment

A steelmaking buyer in Cilegon specifies Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric for heat wraps and barriers on hot metal and heavy equipment. Eight white DSZCF builds run from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm. Most are stainless-steel reinforced. DSZCF3.0NM is the non-metallic cloth. You order by length and width in metres, priced by the square metre. We make the cloth in Ahmedabad and ship it on the order.

Metallic reinforcement, or cloth with no steel

Ceramic fiber holds the heat. On its own it goes slack under tension. Stainless strands in the yarn give DSZCF1.5 through DSZCF6.0, and DSZCF3.0P, the body to be pulled tight and refitted. DSZCF3.0NM drops that steel. It is still 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM, still white, still listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Use it beside live electrical equipment, around induction heating, or on a surface that must not take a metal mark.

Colour is white on every model. HSN 69039090. The cloth contains no asbestos. Cut reinforced fabric with shears or snips. Ordinary scissors struggle on the steel strands. Wear gloves, follow the site procedure for ceramic fiber, and keep dust down. Before the wrap goes on, check for worn-through patches and, on reinforced builds, broken strands at the cut edge.

Thickness changes the mass and the lower band

DSZCF1.5 and DSZCF2.0 are listed at 1000 °C to 1760 °C. From 3.0 mm upward the listed band is 1260 °C to 1760 °C. A duty that sits between 1000 °C and 1260 °C is specified at 3.0 mm or above. Do not treat the thin cloth’s lower start as cover for that zone. DSZCF3.0P stays at 3.0 mm and adds GSM. DSZCF6.0 is the 6.0 mm cloth. Its reference roll is 1 × 20 m. The other models use 1 × 30 m as a reference, not as a minimum.

Industrial districts in the Cilegon plan

Cilegon’s 2020–2040 spatial plan sets industrial land in Ciwandan, Citangkil, Pulomerak, Purwakarta and Grogol, and small and medium industry centres that include Cibeber and Jombang. The rows map a cloth build to the wrap. The list is not a record of who buys from us.

CiwandanNamed in the 2020 Cilegon spatial plan as one of the districts set aside for industry.A standard metallic wrap on hot-metal equipment.DSZCF3.0, 3.0 mm, 1000 GSM.
CitangkilAn industrial district in the same plan, beside Ciwandan. The same 3.0 mm thickness, with more mass, where a standard cloth has worn through.DSZCF3.0P, 1500 GSM.
PulomerakListed with Ciwandan, Citangkil, Purwakarta and Grogol as industrial land.A thicker barrier beside heavy equipment.DSZCF4.0, 4.0 mm, 1800 GSM.
GrogolAn industrial district in that same allocation of about 4,459 hectares. The heaviest listed cloth, for a large heat barrier.DSZCF6.0, 6.0 mm, 3500 GSM.
PurwakartaIndustrial use in this district is limited to land that is already in that use.A lighter metallic wrap where clearance is tight.DSZCF2.0. A duty in the 1000 °C to 1260 °C zone steps up to DSZCF3.0.
CibeberA small and medium industry centre in the spatial plan.A wrap that cannot carry steel in the weave.DSZCF3.0NM, non-metallic, 3.0 mm.
JombangAlso named as a small and medium industry centre.A light wrap on smaller equipment.DSZCF1.5, 1.5 mm, 800 GSM.

A sealed black face is a different cloth

Stay on this white cloth for a straightforward insulation wrap or barrier, where the metallic reinforcement already supplies the strength. Move to Signature Graphite Coated Ceramic Fabric when the surface is rubbed in service or the job needs a sealed face. DSZGCF3.0 is black, graphite coated on both sides, 3.0 mm, 1000 GSM, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C, and sold by the square metre. It is not a coating you add to DSZCF. The fiberglass and ceramic fiber comparison is the check before a glass cloth is written onto a steel-plant wrap that needs this ceramic band. Read the temperature-rating guide before a 1000 °C start on DSZCF1.5 is copied onto a 3.0 mm model.

Questions from Cilegon steelmaking buyers

What is this cloth for on Cilegon steel equipment?

Heat wraps, barriers, pads and covers on hot metal and heavy-industry equipment. Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric is white ceramic fiber cloth, sold by the square metre and cut to the length and width you enter. It is the plain cloth. It is not a finished fire blanket.

What does SS metallic reinforced mean, and when is DSZCF3.0NM the other build?

On most models, stainless steel strands sit in the yarn with the ceramic fiber. The steel gives the cloth body and tear resistance when it is pulled tight, refitted or knocked in service. DSZCF3.0NM is non-metallic ceramic cloth at the same 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM as DSZCF3.0. Choose it when steel in the weave is a problem: live electrical equipment, induction heating, or a surface that must not be marked or contaminated with metal.

Which temperature is listed on each thickness?

DSZCF1.5 and DSZCF2.0 are listed at 1000 °C to 1760 °C. From DSZCF3.0 upward, including DSZCF3.0P and DSZCF3.0NM, the listed band is 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Thickness changes the mass and that lower band. If the duty sits in the 1000 °C to 1260 °C zone, specify 3.0 mm or above. Do not assume the thin cloth covers that zone.

What is the difference between DSZCF3.0 and DSZCF3.0P?

Both are 3.0 mm and SS metallic reinforced, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. DSZCF3.0 is 1000 GSM. DSZCF3.0P is 1500 GSM, a denser cloth in the same thickness. Use the P build when a 3.0 mm fabric has worn through too quickly, or when the spec wants more mass without stepping to 4.0 mm.

How is the fabric ordered?

Enter length and width in metres. The cloth is cut to that size and priced by the square metre. The 1 × 30 m figure on most models, and 1 × 20 m on DSZCF6.0, is a reference roll. It is not a minimum order. The eight listed builds are the catalogue.

When is the graphite-coated cloth the other line?

When the face is rubbed repeatedly or you need a sealed surface. Signature Graphite Coated Ceramic Fabric, DSZGCF3.0, is black, graphite coated on both sides, 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. This page stays on the uncoated white cloth, where metallic reinforcement already supplies the strength.

Is this the ceramic fire blanket?

No. The codes overlap, and the products do not. This fabric is sold by the square metre and cut to your metres. The fire blanket is finished pieces sold per number. DSZCF4.0 fabric is 1800 GSM. Order from this fabric page, not from a model number alone.

Does the cloth contain asbestos, and how is it cut?

No. Ceramic fiber is the non-asbestos cloth used for this furnace and foundry work. It is still a high-temperature mineral fiber. Cut and handle it under your site procedure and keep dust down. Stainless strands blunt ordinary scissors. Use shears or snips, and wear gloves.

What should be checked before the cloth goes on?

Thinning or worn-through patches where the cloth rubs. On reinforced builds, look for broken steel strands and fraying at the cut edges. Wear usually ends the service life before heat does. Store rolls dry and off the floor. Retire cloth that has worn through. Do not patch over it.

Is there a warehouse in Indonesia, and who pays duty?

No. Darshan Safety Zone manufactures the cloth in Ahmedabad and ships it on the order. There is no warehouse, branch or shelf in Cilegon or elsewhere in Indonesia, and we do not state an Indonesia arrival day. Import duties and customs are yours. This page does not name a company as a customer. No hazardous-area, marine-class or MIGAS approval is listed. ISO 9001:2015 is our company quality system, not a cloth certification. Need this urgently? Contact our sales team to discuss your requirement and available dispatch options.
