A fabrication shop in a Batam shipyard cuts Signature Silicon FG Cloth into welding curtains and heat shields. One coated face, or both, on a welding curtain
The silicone face is what the sparks meet. Single side is enough when the cloth hangs on a frame and the back never sees the arc. Both side is the order when a curtain is turned, or when a shield can face either way on the shop floor. Grey, red and black share the same coating and the same temperature. Green is listed on DSZSFG0.6 only, when the curtain has to be easy to see.
Adhesive coating is an option on DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8 only, listed as No or Yes. A curtain model such as DSZSFG0.6 is listed without adhesive. HSN 70191900. Once the silicone face is cracked or worn through, the glass underneath is what is left. Store rolls dry and off the floor, and do not crease the coating on the same line.
Curtain cloth stays flexible. A shield holds shape
DSZSFG0.3 to DSZSFG0.6 hangs as a curtain. From DSZSFG1.0 the cloth holds shape for a shield that stays beside the work. DSZSFG2.0 is 2200 GSM. DSZSFG3.0 is 3 mm and 2000 GSM, lighter than the 2.0 mm cloth, and its reference roll is 1 × 30 m. The other models use 1 × 50 m as a reference, not as a minimum. DSZSFG800 has no thickness listed. Order it by 800 GSM.

When the curtain should not be silicone
Stay on this cloth when the face sees sparks, oil or repeated fitting. Move to Signature Fiberglass Cloth when the wrap is uncoated white E-glass and sits out of the spark path. The primary DSZFG0.6 is 0.6 mm, 430 GSM, listed at 600 °C to 900 °C. Move to Signature Graphite FG Cloth when the face is black graphite on both sides. The primary DSZGF0.6 is 0.6 mm, 490 GSM, listed at 600 °C to 900 °C. Other DSZGF models use different bands. What do Batam shipyard shops cut this cloth for?
Welding curtains and heat shields around marine-engineering fabrication. Signature Silicon FG Cloth is silicone-coated fiberglass, sold by the square metre and cut to the length and width you enter. It is roll cloth. It is not a finished fire blanket.
What does the silicone coating do on a curtain?
It puts a rubbery face on the glass weave. Sparks and hot debris tend to sit on that face instead of burning in. The cloth sheds less fibre when you cut it, and it stands up to oil and damp better than bare E-glass. That is the face a curtain sees in a welding bay.
Single side or both sides?
Single side when the back sits against a frame and only the outer face sees sparks. Both side when either face can be exposed: a curtain that gets turned, or a shield you cannot guarantee will face one way. Write Both Side on the order. Every listed model offers that choice.
Which thickness is a curtain, and which is a shield?
DSZSFG0.3 to DSZSFG0.6 is flexible enough for a curtain. From DSZSFG1.0 upward the cloth holds shape for a shield that stays in place. DSZSFG1.5 to DSZSFG3.0 is heavy cloth for a cover that is handled often. DSZSFG800 has no thickness listed. Order that build by its 800 GSM weight.
What temperature is listed?
DSZSFG0.3 is 550 °C to 800 °C. DSZSFG0.4 is 550 °C to 900 °C. DSZSFG0.5 through DSZSFG3.0, and DSZSFG800, are 650 °C to 900 °C. Match the model. Do not copy the 0.4 band onto a heavier build.
Which colour, and is adhesive listed?
Grey, red and black are on every model. The coating and the temperature do not change with colour. Green is listed on DSZSFG0.6 only. Adhesive coating is No or Yes on DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8. The other models are listed without adhesive.
How is it ordered?
Name the DSZSFG model, the coating side and the colour, then enter length and width in metres. The cloth is cut to that size and priced by the square metre. The 1 × 50 m figure is a reference roll. DSZSFG3.0 uses 1 × 30 m as its reference. Neither figure is a minimum order.
Is this the silicon fire blanket?

When is graphite cloth or plain fiberglass the other line?
Plain Signature Fiberglass Cloth is uncoated white E-glass for wrap that sits under a cover and is not handled much. Signature Graphite FG Cloth is black, graphite coated on both sides, when the face should not be silicone. A welding curtain that sees sparks stays on this silicone cloth.
Is there a warehouse in Indonesia, and is a marine approval listed?
