Signature Silicon FG Cloth · Ekurhuleni

Silicon FG cloth for welding curtains in Ekurhuleni shops

An Ekurhuleni fabrication or maintenance shop cuts Signature Silicon FG Cloth for a welding curtain, a heat shield, or a cover that comes off for service. Ten DSZSFG builds run from 0.3 mm to 3 mm, plus DSZSFG800 at 800 GSM with no thickness listed. You enter length and width in metres. The cloth is priced by the square metre. We make it in Ahmedabad and ship it on the order.

Coating for a curtain or a cover

The silicone face is why a shop picks this cloth over bare glass. Sparks sit on the coating. The cloth sheds less fibre when you cut it, and it stands up to oil and damp better than uncoated E-glass. Single-side is enough when one face stays against a frame or the equipment. Both-side is the order when either face can end outward.

Adhesive coating is listed as No or Yes on DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8 only. The other six models are listed without adhesive. Colour does not change the rating. Grey is the usual stock. Red and black mark a curtain you want seen. Green is on DSZSFG0.6 only.

Thickness for curtains, shields and covers

Thickness is the shop decision. From 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm the cloth stays flexible enough to hang or wrap. From 1.0 mm it holds shape for a shield or a cover that stays in service. At 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 3 mm you are into heavy cloth for covers that get taken off and put back. More thickness is more mass. It does not raise the listed temperature above 900 °C. DSZSFG3.0 is 3 mm and 2000 GSM, lighter than DSZSFG2.0 at 2200 GSM. Publish both figures as listed.

Industrial areas where Ekurhuleni shops cut cloth

The City of Ekurhuleni IDP names these areas among the manufacturing and transport industry. The rows are how a fabrication or maintenance shop uses the thickness. The list is not a record of who buys from us.

Prices stay on the product card. Enter the length and the width in metres. The cloth is supplied at that size and priced by the square metre. The reference roll is not a minimum. For a shop quantity, contact our sales team to discuss the cut and the dispatch options on that quotation.

When the face should not be silicone

Stay on this DSZSFG cloth when the surface faces sparks, oil, or gets fitted and refitted. Move to Signature Graphite FG Cloth when the shop wants a black graphite face. Move to Signature Fiberglass Cloth when uncoated white E-glass can sit under cladding and nobody handles it much. The fiberglass and ceramic fiber comparison is the check before a ceramic roll is written on this order.

Made in Ahmedabad, shipped on the order

Darshan Safety Zone manufactures this cloth at our Ahmedabad factory (401 & 402, Golden Plaza, Amar Jawan Circle, Nikol -, Ahmedabad, India). Ekurhuleni has no Darshan Safety Zone warehouse, branch or shelf, and we do not state a South Africa arrival day. International transit depends on freight and customs. The cloth ships on the order.

Import duties and customs are yours. Availability depends on the product category and on the regulations that apply to the shipment. Bulk and project quantities follow the production schedule on the quotation. Our shipping and delivery policy covers how an order leaves the factory. Need this urgently? Questions from Ekurhuleni fabrication and maintenance shops

What cloth does an Ekurhuleni shop cut for curtains and covers?

Signature Silicon FG Cloth. It is silicone-coated fiberglass roll fabric, ten DSZSFG builds, sold by the square metre. You enter length and width in metres. The cloth is cut to that rectangle. Grey, red and black are on every model. Green is listed on DSZSFG0.6 only.

Which thickness is for a curtain, and which is for a cover?

0.3 mm to 0.6 mm stays flexible enough for curtains and wrap. From 1.0 mm the cloth holds shape for a heat shield or an equipment cover that stays in place. DSZSFG1.5, DSZSFG2.0 and DSZSFG3.0 are the heavy cloth for covers that get handled often. DSZSFG800 is specified at 800 GSM and has no thickness listed.

What temperature is listed on each model?

DSZSFG0.3 is 550 °C to 800 °C. DSZSFG0.4 is 550 °C to 900 °C. DSZSFG0.5 through DSZSFG3.0, and DSZSFG800, are 650 °C to 900 °C. A thicker roll is not a higher temperature. Read the band on the model you name.

Single-side or both-side for a shop curtain?

Single-side when one face sits against a frame, cladding or the equipment and only the outer face sees sparks. Both-side when the curtain or cover can be turned, or the fitter cannot guarantee which face ends outward. Every thickness lists both.

Which models offer adhesive coating?

DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8 list adhesive coating as No or Yes. DSZSFG0.6, DSZSFG1.0, DSZSFG1.5, DSZSFG2.0, DSZSFG3.0 and DSZSFG800 are listed without adhesive only. Confirm the face on the quotation if the shop needs a sticky side for a temporary fixing.

Does colour change the rating?

No. Grey, red and black share the coating and the temperature of the thickness you pick. Grey is the usual shelf colour. Red and black are for a curtain or cover the shop wants to see. Green is listed on DSZSFG0.6 only.

How do I order by the metre or the square metre?

Enter length and width in metres on the silicon FG cloth page. The cloth is supplied at that size and priced by the square metre. The 1 × 50 metre figure is the reference roll. DSZSFG3.0 references 1 × 30 metre. Neither figure is a minimum order. An export order is placed on a quotation.

Is this the same DSZSFG code as a fire blanket?

No. This page is roll cloth, sold by the square metre, for curtains, shields and covers you cut. Signature Silicon Fire Blanket uses the same model numbers as a finished piece sold per NOS against a 1 × 2 metre reference. Order from this cloth page when the shop is fabricating the panel.

Is there a warehouse in South Africa or a stated arrival day?

No. Darshan Safety Zone manufactures the cloth in Ahmedabad and ships it on the order. There is no warehouse, branch or shelf in Ekurhuleni or elsewhere in South Africa, and we do not state a South Africa arrival day. Transit follows freight and customs. Need this urgently? Contact our sales team to discuss your requirement and available dispatch options.

Who pays duty, and is a named company our customer?

Import duties and customs are yours. This page describes cloth that fabrication and maintenance shops in Ekurhuleni cut for curtains, shields and covers. It does not name a company as a Darshan Safety Zone customer. No hazardous-area approval is listed. ISO 9001:2015 is our company quality system, not a cloth certification.
