Signature silicon FG cloth · Hyderabad engineering belt
Engineering and process plants around Hyderabad use coated glass cloth for four jobs: curtains around welding, shields beside hot equipment, covers that come off for maintenance, and wrap on pipes and ducts. Signature Silicon FG Cloth is silicone-coated fiberglass in eight thicknesses, DSZSFG0.3 to DSZSFG2.0, in grey, red or black. It is cut to your length and width and sold by the square metre. Below you will find the model for each job, the full specification and how to order. The cloth is made in Ahmedabad and dispatched to Hyderabad.

The same cloth does very different work depending on its weight. Thin cloth drapes and wraps; heavier cloth holds its shape. Start from the job, then confirm the model against your own heat and handling.
DSZSFG0.5, DSZSFG0.6 or DSZSFG0.8
Red or black; both-side coating if seen from both sides
Hung between a welding bay and the machines, people or walkway next to it. Light enough to drape and pull aside.
DSZSFG1.0 or DSZSFG1.5
Grey; single-side when one face is fixed against a frame
Fixed panels that sit between a hot process and nearby motors, controls or cabling and keep their shape in service.
DSZSFG1.0 to DSZSFG2.0
Both-side coating, so the cover can go back either way round
Taken off for maintenance and refitted: valve and flange covers, machine covers during nearby hot work, inspection flaps.
DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4 or DSZSFG0.6
Single-side, coated face out; adhesive face listed on some thin models
Thin, flexible cloth that follows bends, joints and duct sections without stiff folds.
Hyderabad's engineering base stretches from the heavy electrical-equipment estate at Ramachandrapuram to the precision estates at Balanagar and the defence-production zone at Kanchanbagh, with process plants to the north and north-west. Typical cloth jobs in each area are below.
Job-work estate serving heavy electrical-equipment manufacture, Sangareddy district
Machining and fabrication for large electrical equipment, with welding and machining often in the same shed.
Cloth jobs: Curtains between welding and machining; shields beside parts being pre-heated
North-west Hyderabad engineering estates with aerospace and defence suppliers
Close-tolerance machining and sub-assembly, where a stray spark on a fixture or machine bed is costly.
Cloth jobs: Removable covers over machines and fixtures; compact red or black screens
Defence production and research zone, south-east Hyderabad
Plant and utility maintenance in and around large establishments, much of it by contractors.
Cloth jobs: Covers over equipment near hot work, and duct or pipe wrap during maintenance
Sheet-metal and enclosure fabrication, Phases I to III, east Hyderabad
Welding of thin-sheet enclosures and cabinets alongside assembly and finishing lines.
Cloth jobs: Curtain lines that separate welding from assembly; light covers over finished work
Mixed engineering, chemical and pharma estate, Medchal-Malkajgiri
Machinery fabrication alongside process units that run their own utility pipework and ducting.
Cloth jobs: Pipe and duct wrap, plus removable flange and valve covers
Process-plant estates on the Sangareddy side of the city
Maintenance shutdowns on utilities and ducting in bulk-drug and chemical units.
Cloth jobs: Covers that come off and go back on at each shutdown, in heavier both-side builds
Every model comes in grey, red or black with single-side or both-side coating, on a 1 × 50 m reference roll. Thickness, weight, listed working temperature and the adhesive option are what change. For help comparing temperature figures, see our guide to reading temperature ratings.

All three Signature FG cloths are sold per square metre and cut to size. The coating is the main difference. To compare glass cloth with ceramic, read fiberglass vs ceramic fiber.

The cloth is charged per square metre. On a 1 m wide roll, one running metre is one square metre. For example, four bay curtains each 3 m long with a 2 m drop come to 6 m² each, 24 m² in total.
Step 1
Pick the model
Choose a DSZSFG thickness for each job, plus colour, coating side and, where listed, adhesive.
Step 2
Enter length × width
Type the size in metres on the product page. The cloth is cut to that size and charged by the square metre.
Step 3
Repeat per job
Curtains, shields, covers and wrap usually need different models, so give each its own line.
Check the coated face before refitting a cover or rehanging a curtain. Once the coating is cracked, holed or worn through, replace the piece. Store rolls dry and off the floor, and avoid folding them along the same crease every time.
For a plant-wide list of curtains, covers and wrap, send these five details. One line per model keeps the quotation easy to check.
Signature Silicon FG Cloth is made by Darshan Safety Zone in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and dispatched cut to size to the address on the order. There is no branch, dealer or warehouse in Telangana, and dispatch timing is confirmed on each quotation.

Curtains need to hang and fold, so the flexible end of the range works best: DSZSFG0.5 (510 GSM) or DSZSFG0.6 (560 GSM), both listed at 650 °C to 900 °C. Red or black makes the curtain line easy to see. Move up to DSZSFG0.8 or DSZSFG1.0 if the screen takes a heavier spark stream or gets pushed aside many times a shift.
From about 1.0 mm the cloth starts to keep its shape. DSZSFG1.0 (970 GSM) suits shields and covers in regular service; DSZSFG1.5 (1600 GSM) and DSZSFG2.0 (2200 GSM) suit covers that are handled roughly or refitted often. All three are listed at 650 °C to 900 °C.
DSZSFG0.3 is listed at 550 °C to 800 °C and DSZSFG0.4 at 550 °C to 900 °C. DSZSFG0.5 through DSZSFG2.0 are listed at 650 °C to 900 °C. These are the only temperature figures we publish for this cloth, so check the figure on the model you choose against your own duty.
Single-side coating works when one face always sits against the equipment or cladding. Choose both-side coating for removable covers that may go back on the other way round, curtains seen from both sides, and wrap where either face could end up outward.
Adhesive coating is listed as an option (No or Yes) on DSZSFG0.3, DSZSFG0.4, DSZSFG0.5 and DSZSFG0.8. DSZSFG0.6, DSZSFG1.0, DSZSFG1.5 and DSZSFG2.0 are listed without adhesive only. Say on the order whether you need it.
The cloth is sold per square metre. Pick the DSZSFG model on the product page, enter length and width in metres, and the cloth is supplied cut to that size. The 1 × 50 m figure is the reference roll, not a minimum order. If you think in running metres off a 1 m wide roll, each running metre is one square metre.
No. Signature Silicon FG Cloth is roll fabric sold per square metre and cut to your size for curtains, shields, covers and wrap. Signature Silicon Fire Blanket shares the DSZSFG codes but is a finished blanket sold per piece against a 1 × 2 m reference. Always order from the product page, not by model code alone.
Signature Fiberglass Cloth is uncoated white E-glass. It suits insulation wrap that sits under cladding and is rarely touched. Choose the silicon-coated cloth when the surface faces sparks, oil or damp, or when covers are taken off and refitted regularly.
No product standard or sector approval is listed for Signature Silicon FG Cloth, and we do not claim one. Darshan Safety Zone is ISO 9001:2015 certified as a company. If your vendor registration or purchase procedure asks for particular documents, name them in the enquiry and we will tell you what we can provide.
No. The cloth is made at our Ahmedabad factory in Gujarat and dispatched, cut to the sizes on the order, to the plant or stores address in Hyderabad, Sangareddy or Medchal-Malkajgiri. We have no branch, dealer or stock in Telangana, and dispatch timing is confirmed on each quotation.
