Where the 25 mm roll is the wrap
Every row is the same roll. The narrow width is what lets a fitter close a flange, a lagging end or a fitting that a wide cloth will not seat on.

Clean and dry the surface, then spiral the tape under tension and secure the ends by the site method. Check the roll for tears, fraying or contamination before it goes on a hot line. Retire tape once the silicone face is cracked or worn through, or the weave is fraying at the cut ends. Store rolls dry, off the floor and away from sharp edges. A roll that has picked up oil or moisture in the store can smoke on first heat-up.
