  • Working temperature tops at 900 °C; start is 550 °C or 600 °C depending on the build — quote the model you pick.
  • Not sustained welding spatter protection — use welding blanket products when slag sits in one spot.
  • Uncoated cloth can itch — gloves help; frequent handling may justify silicon-coated siblings.

We manufacture in Ahmedabad — can we collect from the factory same day?
No counter, dealer shelf or walk-in collection in the industrial estates. Sharing the city with the factory does not create same-day pickup. Orders dispatch after payment with processing of 1–2 business days, then courier to the address on the PO. Need it urgently? When should we choose silicon or ceramic instead of plain DSZFG?
Plain DSZFG suits economical smother cover within each model’s listed band up to 900 °C. Step to Signature Silicon Fire Blanket when oil, moisture or daily handling needs coating. Ceramic is a separate high-temperature family on its product page — not the default for a Thaltej home cupboard.
Does this product meet AMC or Gujarat fire-code rules for our building?
No. Building and occupancy rules are separate from this product. DSZFG models do not carry a fire-code stamp on the live panel. Your society, shop insurer or fire adviser decides what the premises must keep.
Is there a DSZ retail shelf somewhere in Ahmedabad we can visit?
No. We manufacture here and ship to the home, shop or society address on the order. There is no public counter to browse stock. The product remains available to order on the Signature Fire Blanket product page.
When does a Gujarat order leave after payment?
Processing is 1–2 business days after payment. Courier estimates on the shipping policy are 1–3 days local, 2–5 within the state and 3–7 for the rest of India — estimates only. The quotation confirms dispatch, not arrival day.
How do we order multiple sizes for one shop or housing society?
Each finished length × width in metres is its own line with the DSZFG model named. One cupboard size and one garage bench size are two lines, not one averaged size.
Will plain glass cloth itch when we fold it on a hook?
Uncoated E-glass can itch at cut edges — gloves and long sleeves help. If the piece is refitted many times a week, compare the silicon-coated blanket on its product page before you standardise on plain cloth.
Can we reuse a blanket after smothering a small fire?
Only after inspection shows no holes, hardening or contamination. When in doubt, replace it on the next order rather than leaving a doubtful piece on the hook.
