Signature ceramic fiber fabric · Ahmedabad
Maintenance buyers in Odhav specify ceramic cloth for furnace wraps and barriers, not for the person wearing a coat. Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric is white cloth, sold per square metre and cut to the length and width you enter. Eight DSZCF builds run from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm. Seven are SS metallic reinforced. DSZCF3.0NM is the non-metallic 3.0 mm cloth. Listed temperature is 1000 °C to 1760 °C on the two thin builds, and 1260 °C to 1760 °C from 3.0 mm upward. We make the cloth at our Ahmedabad factory and dispatch it to the address on your order.

The white DSZCF cloth is the insulation and barrier. DSZGCF3.0 is the black, both-side graphite cloth for a face that is rubbed or needs to be sealed. It is a separate product, 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C.
Every row is white Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric, ordered by length and width in metres. The product page does not preselect the model, so name the DSZCF code on the quotation. All eight builds link to the same product.
| Wrap | Model | Thickness | Weight | Build | Listed temperature | Order |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Light wrap where the listed band starts at 1000 °C | DSZCF1.5 | 1.5 mm | 800 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1000 °C to 1760 °C | |
| A slightly heavier light wrap on the same band | DSZCF2.0 | 2.0 mm | 950 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1000 °C to 1760 °C | |
| Everyday furnace barrier and door wrap | DSZCF3.0 | 3.0 mm | 1000 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1260 °C to 1760 °C | |
| Same 3.0 mm when the cloth wears through too quickly | DSZCF3.0P | 3.0 mm | 1500 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1260 °C to 1760 °C | |
| Induction furnaces, or any job that cannot take steel in the weave | DSZCF3.0NM | 3.0 mm | 1000 GSM | Non-metallic ceramic cloth | 1260 °C to 1760 °C | |
| A barrier left in place on a furnace wall or door | DSZCF4.0 | 4.0 mm | 1800 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1260 °C to 1760 °C | |
| Heavy barrier where the cloth takes more knock and heat mass | DSZCF5.0 | 5.0 mm | 2500 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1260 °C to 1760 °C | |
| Thickest wrap on this page | DSZCF6.0 | 6.0 mm | 3500 GSM | SS metallic reinforced | 1260 °C to 1760 °C |
Stainless strands in the yarn give the cloth body and tear resistance when it is pulled tight, refitted and knocked about. Ceramic fibre on its own is strong against heat and slack under tension. That is why seven builds are SS metallic reinforced, and one build leaves the steel out.
DSZCF1.5, DSZCF2.0, DSZCF3.0, DSZCF3.0P, DSZCF4.0, DSZCF5.0 and DSZCF6.0. Use these for furnace wraps and barriers that are tensioned and handled. DSZCF3.0P keeps the 3.0 mm thickness and raises the mass from 1000 GSM to 1500 GSM.
Same 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM as DSZCF3.0, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C, without steel in the weave. Specify it beside induction heating, live electrical equipment, or a surface that must not take metal marking or contamination.
Odhav is the foundry cluster in the district MSME profile, and the Odhav Industries Association lists foundries among the estate's industry types. Naroda, Vatva, Rakhial and Tribhuvan are further concentrations in the published Ahmedabad foundry cluster profile. The cloth is insulation and barrier fabric. It is not a coat or a glove.
| Floor | Typical wrap | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Odhav GIDCSaturated GIDC estate, east Ahmedabad. The district MSME profile places the foundry cluster at Odhav, and the Odhav Industries Association lists foundries in the industry mix. | Furnace wraps, door barriers and ladle-side cloth during pouring and tending. | DSZCF3.0 on a reinforced wrap. DSZCF3.0NM when the furnace is induction. |
| Naroda GIDCSaturated GIDC estate, north-east Ahmedabad. The foundry-cluster profile names Naroda GIDC as its own concentration of foundry units. | Cloth at cupola and induction melt shops, hung or wrapped where the furnace shell and the door need a barrier. | DSZCF3.0 away from the coil. DSZCF3.0NM beside induction heating. |
| Naroda foundry beltFoundry concentration the same cluster profile lists separately from Naroda GIDC. | Maintenance wraps on melt floors outside the estate boundary. | DSZCF3.0, stepping to DSZCF3.0P if the 1000 GSM cloth wears through. |
| Vatva GIDCSaturated GIDC estate, listed by GIDC as Vatwa. The foundry-cluster profile also names Vatva Industrial Estate. | Foundry furnace barriers in the estate, kept separate from dye-house and process covers. | DSZCF4.0 when the barrier stays in place through the heat. |
| Rakhial Industrial EstateIndustrial estate named as a foundry concentration in the Ahmedabad foundry-cluster profile. | A barrier beside the pour, where the cloth is pulled tight and knocked in service. | DSZCF3.0, the metallic build, for tear resistance. |
| Tribhuvan Industrial EstateIndustrial estate named as a foundry concentration in the same cluster profile. | Furnace wraps through a melt, refitted between heats. | DSZCF3.0P when a standard 3.0 mm wrap has already worn through. |
This fabric is the ceramic cloth for furnace and foundry duty when glass or silica cloth is out of range. It is not a finished fire blanket. DSZCF codes also appear on Signature Ceramic Fire Blanket, which is sold as finished pieces. Order by the product page, not by the code alone. DSZCF4.0 fabric is 1800 GSM. Do not assume a blanket with a similar code has the same weight.
Compare the fibres before you substitute one cloth for the other. The comparison sits on its own guide so the temperature bands stay with the right product.
Open guideDSZGCF3.0 is black, both-side graphite coated, 3.0 mm, 1000 GSM, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Use it when the surface is rubbed or you need a sealed face that sheds fewer fibres.
Send the five lines below. Enter the same length and width on the product page if you are pricing one piece yourself. The bulk quotation guide covers several sizes on one request. Use the contact form when metallic and non-metallic pieces share the order.
Line 1
Model
One DSZCF code. DSZCF3.0, DSZCF3.0P and DSZCF3.0NM are three different cloths.
Line 2
Length and width
Metres, for each piece. The page cuts to that size. Reference rolls are 1 × 30 m, or 1 × 20 m on DSZCF6.0, and they are not a minimum.
Line 3
How many pieces
The order is priced per square metre from those dimensions.
Line 4
Where it goes
Furnace wrap, door barrier, or work beside an induction coil. That confirms metallic or non-metallic.

Darshan Safety Zone is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer. Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric is made at our Ahmedabad factory and sent to the address on the order. Odhav, Naroda, Vatva, Rakhial and Tribhuvan do not have a Darshan Safety Zone counter, dealer or shelf. Sharing the city with the factory does not promise a same-day collection.
Need furnace cloth urgently? Contact our sales team to discuss your requirement and the dispatch options that are open. That conversation does not guarantee same-day delivery or that the cloth is ready to collect.
Our shipping and delivery policy gives India courier ranges only as estimates: about 1 to 2 business days to handle the order, then about 1 to 3 days for a local Ahmedabad address, 2 to 5 days within Gujarat, and 3 to 7 days for the rest of India. The quotation confirms dispatch. Bulk cuts follow the production schedule on that quotation.

For a reinforced furnace wrap or barrier, start with DSZCF3.0: white, 3.0 mm, 1000 GSM, SS metallic reinforced, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C, sold per square metre. Enter the length and width in metres on the product page. If the same 3.0 mm cloth wears through, specify the denser DSZCF3.0P at 1500 GSM. If the furnace is induction, or steel in the weave is a problem, specify DSZCF3.0NM instead.
Choose DSZCF3.0NM when stainless steel in the yarn is a problem: work around live electrical equipment, induction heating, or a surface that must not be marked or contaminated by metal. It is the same 3.0 mm and 1000 GSM as DSZCF3.0, and the same listed band of 1260 °C to 1760 °C, built as non-metallic ceramic cloth. The other seven models are SS metallic reinforced.
DSZCF1.5 and DSZCF2.0 list 1000 °C to 1760 °C. From DSZCF3.0 upward, including DSZCF3.0P, DSZCF3.0NM, DSZCF4.0, DSZCF5.0 and DSZCF6.0, the listed range is 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Thickness changes insulating mass and the listed lower band. If the duty sits between 1000 °C and 1260 °C, specify 3.0 mm or above rather than the thin cloth.
Both are 3.0 mm, white and SS metallic reinforced, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. DSZCF3.0 is 1000 GSM. DSZCF3.0P is 1500 GSM, a denser cloth in the same nominal thickness. Specify the P build when a 3.0 mm furnace wrap has worn through too quickly and you do not want to step up to 4.0 mm.
Signature Ceramic Fiber Fabric is the white ceramic cloth for furnace and foundry wraps and barriers when glass or silica cloth is out of range. DSZCF models list either 1000 °C to 1760 °C or 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Read the fiberglass-versus-ceramic comparison before you treat the two fibres as interchangeable, and read the temperature-ratings guide before you compare a listed band with another supplier's figure.
Stay with the uncoated white DSZCF cloth for straightforward insulation and barriers, where the metallic reinforcement already supplies strength. Move to Signature Graphite Coated Ceramic Fabric, model DSZGCF3.0, when the face is rubbed repeatedly or you need a sealed face that sheds fewer fibres. DSZGCF3.0 is black, both-side graphite coated, 3.0 mm, 1000 GSM, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. Put it on its own quotation line.
Enter length and width in metres on the product page. The cloth is cut to that size and sold per square metre. The 1 × 30 m figure on most models, and 1 × 20 m on DSZCF6.0, is a reference roll, not a minimum order. Name the model as well as the metres, because DSZCF codes also appear on a different ceramic fire blanket sold as finished pieces.
No. Ceramic fibre is the non-asbestos cloth used in place of legacy asbestos cloth on furnace and foundry work. It is still a high-temperature mineral fibre. Cut and handle it under your site procedure for ceramic fibre, keep dust down, and use shears or snips on reinforced builds because the stainless strands blunt ordinary scissors.
Send the DSZCF model, the length and width in metres, how many pieces, and the delivery address. Say whether the 3.0 mm line is metallic DSZCF3.0, dense DSZCF3.0P, or non-metallic DSZCF3.0NM. Add DSZGCF3.0 only if the face needs graphite. We quote from our Ahmedabad factory. The price is on that quotation.
No. We manufacture in Ahmedabad and dispatch to the address on the order. Odhav and the other foundry areas on this page do not have a Darshan Safety Zone counter, dealer or shelf. Sharing the city with the factory does not promise a same-day collection. Our shipping policy gives India courier ranges only as estimates: about 1 to 2 business days to handle the order, then about 1 to 3 days locally, 2 to 5 days within Gujarat, and 3 to 7 days for the rest of India. The quotation confirms dispatch. It does not promise an arrival day. Need the cloth urgently? Contact our sales team through the contact form with the delivery address, the DSZCF model and when you need it. They can discuss the dispatch options for that order. Contacting us does not guarantee same-day delivery or that the cloth is ready to collect.
Send the model, the length and width in metres, and the delivery address. Say if the 3.0 mm line must be non-metallic. We quote from our Ahmedabad factory.
