Al-Zour insulation wraps are ceramic fiber fabric, sold by the square metre

The decision on an Al-Zour wrap is the build of DSZCF: thickness, and whether the cloth is stainless-reinforced or non-metallic. That decision lives on the fabric guide. It is not settled by ordering the Al Ahmadi welding blanket or a kilogram of Mina Abdullah tape. The cloth is woven in Ahmedabad for the square metres on the quotation.

Fabric for the Al-Zour wrap

DSZCF only. Graphite-coated ceramic fabric is a different product. Open the guide if the wrap needs that comparison.

The two choices the guide forces

Thickness

The square metres are useless until the thickness is named. The product page lists the DSZCF builds. This hub does not invent a default.

Metallic or non-metallic

Stainless reinforcement is a build, not a thicker version of the same cloth. Say which one the wrap needs before the quotation is priced.

  • Ceramic Fiber Fabric

DSZCF ceramic fiber fabric by thickness and build for Al-Zour insulation wraps.

Kuwait pages that are easy to mix up with this one

All three are heat protection. Only this one is a ceramic cloth measured in square metres.

  • Al Ahmadi

Welding blankets for a field cut or a town workshop. Length and width, not an insulation-wrap area.

  • Mina Abdullah

Silicone fiberglass tape by the kilogram for pipe, steam and flange. A different fiber from DSZCF.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Al-Zour page actually sell?

DSZCF ceramic fiber fabric, by the square metre, for insulation wraps. The guide asks you to choose thickness and a metallic or non-metallic build. This page is not a welding-blanket page and not a tape page.

Why are there two builds instead of one Al-Zour cloth?

The wrap either needs the stainless reinforcement or it does not. That choice is made on the ceramic-fiber guide, against the surface being covered. Guessing the build on this hub would skip the only decision the quotation needs.

Can the Mina Abdullah tape cover the same insulation job?

No. Mina Abdullah is silicone fiberglass tape sold by the kilogram for pipe, steam and flange wrap during a turnaround. Al-Zour is a ceramic cloth sold by area. The fiber and the unit both change.

Is an Al Ahmadi welding blanket ever the Al-Zour order?

No. Al Ahmadi is spark, spatter and slag on a hot-work blanket. An insulation wrap at Al-Zour is DSZCF. Shipping a DSZVCF roll against an Al-Zour wrap line is the wrong product.

Where is the fabric produced?

At the Darshan Safety Zone factory in Ahmedabad. Al-Zour does not hold a Darshan Safety Zone shelf, branch or warehouse.

Do you give an arrival day for an Al-Zour wrap order?

No. The quotation confirms what leaves Ahmedabad. Freight and customs set the transit. Import duties and taxes are yours.

Does the page claim an Al-Zour plant as a customer?

No. It describes insulation wraps. It does not say that KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, or any other company buys the fabric, and it does not claim a hazardous-area approval.

What should the Al-Zour line on a quotation contain?

DSZCF, the thickness, metallic or non-metallic, the square metres, and Al-Zour as the place. Leave kilograms of tape and metres of welding blanket on their own Kuwait pages.
