Signature Graphite FG Cloth · Mumbai
Graphite FG cloth for a Mumbai basement or small garage
Order this cloth when a household or a small workshop needs black fiberglass with graphite on both sides. Eleven DSZGF models run from 0.2 mm to 3.0 mm. The listed temperature depends on the model: 550 °C to 900 °C, 600 °C to 900 °C, or 800 °C to 900 °C. You enter length and width in metres and pay by the square metre. The silicon-coated cloth is a separate product. We make this cloth in Ahmedabad and ship it to you.
The silicon cloth is the other coating
Signature Silicon FG Cloth is the order when the surface you need is silicon. Thickness and temperature for that cloth stay on its page. This page stays with the graphite coating.
Where a Mumbai home orders the graphite cloth
Teachers Colony, Chunabhatti, New Tilak Nagar and Nahur are Mumbai Board housing colonies. The order is square metres of graphite-coated fiberglass.
| Place | Setting | Cloth job | Start with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teachers Colony, Kurla | A Mumbai Board colony on the MHADA eastern list | A society basement heat shield. The first cut most homes send is 0.6 mm. | DSZGF0.6 |
| Chunabhatti, Kurla | A Mumbai Board colony in Kurla on the same eastern list | An apartment that can use the lightest cloth, when the band may open at 550 °C. | DSZGF0.2 |
| New Tilak Nagar, Chembur | A Mumbai Board colony in Chembur, listed apart from Tilak Nagar | A small garage. DSZGF0.3 is 0.3 mm and still listed from 800 °C. | DSZGF0.3 |
| Nahur, Mulund | A Mumbai Board colony in Mulund. The layout was approved on 19 June 2019 | A small workshop that can handle the heaviest cloth, 3.0 mm and 1900 GSM. | DSZGF3.0 |
DSZGF0.6 is 0.6 mm, 490 GSM, and listed at 600 °C to 900 °C. A Teachers Colony basement that wants graphite on both sides starts there, then enters the length and width the shield actually needs.
Eleven thicknesses, three temperature lines
All eleven are black and graphite coated on both sides. The temperature line is not the same on every row.
| Model | What you order | Home use | Order |
|---|---|---|---|
| DSZGF0.2 | 0.2 mm · 230 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 550 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | The lightest cloth, and the only band that opens at 550 °C. | |
| DSZGF0.3 | 0.3 mm · 300 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | Thin cloth that still sits on the 800 °C floor. | |
| DSZGF0.5 | 0.5 mm · 450 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 600 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | A step between the lightest cloth and DSZGF0.6. | |
| DSZGF0.6 | 0.6 mm · 490 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 600 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | The piece a Teachers Colony basement most often names first. | |
| DSZGF0.8 | 0.8 mm · 860 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 600 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | Thicker than DSZGF0.6. The band stays 600 °C to 900 °C. | |
| DSZGF1.0 | 1.0 mm · 920 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | The 800 °C floor at 1.0 mm. | |
| DSZGF1.2 | 1.2 mm · 920 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 50 m | Same GSM as DSZGF1.0. The reference roll here is 1 × 50 m. | |
| DSZGF1.5 | 1.5 mm · 1000 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | A mid thickness for a garage shield. | |
| DSZGF2.0 | 2.0 mm · 1400 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | Heavier cloth, still on the 800 °C floor. | |
| DSZGF2.5 | 2.5 mm · 1500 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | One step under the heaviest model. | |
| DSZGF3.0 | 3.0 mm · 1900 GSM · black · both-side graphite · 800 °C to 900 °C · reference 1 × 30 m | The heaviest listed cloth. The band does not climb past 900 °C. |
DSZGF0.3 is 0.3 mm and 300 GSM, listed at 800 °C to 900 °C. A New Tilak Nagar garage that picks it is not getting a lower band than DSZGF3.0. The 3.0 mm cloth is 1900 GSM and listed on that same 800 °C to 900 °C line.
Enter the metres the job needs
The buy box asks for length and width in metres. Ten models list a 1 × 30 m reference roll. DSZGF1.2 lists 1 × 50 m. You still order the square metres you need. A conductive coating and a non-conductive coating are not separate choices. Every row is both-side graphite coated.
A Nahur workshop that wants 3.0 mm names DSZGF3.0, then the length and the width. That model is 1900 GSM and listed at 800 °C to 900 °C. It is fiberglass. The graphite ceramic cloth is a different product, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C.

Questions before you order
When do I order the graphite cloth?
Order it when a Mumbai basement or garage needs black fiberglass with graphite on both sides. Eleven DSZGF models run from 0.2 mm to 3.0 mm, sold by the square metre. Signature Silicon FG Cloth is the other coating. Silicon thicknesses stay on that page.
Which thickness fits a Kurla basement?
Teachers Colony usually starts with DSZGF0.6: 0.6 mm, 490 GSM, listed at 600 °C to 900 °C. Chunabhatti can take the lightest cloth, DSZGF0.2, 0.2 mm and 230 GSM, the only band that opens at 550 °C. Nahur, when the workshop wants the heaviest cloth, takes DSZGF3.0: 3.0 mm, 1900 GSM, listed at 800 °C to 900 °C. Every model is black.
Does a thinner cloth always list a lower temperature?
Read the model. DSZGF0.2 is 550 °C to 900 °C. DSZGF0.5, DSZGF0.6 and DSZGF0.8 are 600 °C to 900 °C. DSZGF0.3 is only 0.3 mm and 300 GSM, and it is listed at 800 °C to 900 °C, the same floor as DSZGF1.0 through DSZGF3.0 and DSZGF1.2.
Do I have to buy the whole reference roll?
Enter length and width in metres. You are billed for those square metres. Ten models list a 1 × 30 m reference roll. DSZGF1.2 lists 1 × 50 m. Only these eleven model numbers are on the listing.
Can I choose a conductive coating?
Each model is listed as both-side graphite coated. The listing has no conductive option and no non-conductive option.
Is this the graphite ceramic cloth?
This cloth is fiberglass. Signature Graphite Coated Ceramic Fabric is a ceramic cloth, listed at 1260 °C to 1760 °C. The fiberglass and ceramic fiber guide is where the two fibres are compared.
What should a Chembur or Mulund quote include?
The model, from DSZGF0.2 to DSZGF3.0, the length and width in metres, and the place: Teachers Colony, Chunabhatti, New Tilak Nagar or Nahur. Say whether it is a society basement, an apartment or a small garage. Ask for the silicon cloth only when the coating you want is silicon.
Is there a counter in Mumbai?
No. There is no Darshan Safety Zone branch or warehouse in Teachers Colony, Chunabhatti, New Tilak Nagar or Nahur. We make the cloth in Ahmedabad and ship it to the address on the order. You can still order it.
How soon does a Mumbai cloth leave?
Processing is 1–2 business days after payment. The shipping policy lists courier estimates of 1–3 days local, 2–5 days within the state, and 3–7 days for the rest of India. Those are estimates. Mumbai is in Maharashtra, so it is not a Gujarat local delivery. The quotation confirms dispatch. It does not promise the day the cloth arrives. Need this urgently? Contact our sales team to discuss your requirement and available dispatch options.
Does a product certificate come with the cloth?
No product mark is listed on the DSZGF models. Darshan Safety Zone holds ISO 9001:2015 for the company quality system. That certificate is not a cloth approval.
