Darshan Safety Zone · Sharjah fabrication

Sharjah bays hang silicone cloth. A curtain is not a heat shield.

Al Sajaa and Industrial Area 10 both fabricate. One bay needs a light curtain. Another keeps a heavier shield close to the weld. Both are DSZSFG, sold by the square metre, and they are still separate lines. This is not a Jebel Ali carton and not a Ruwais valve cover. The cloth is made in Ahmedabad for the metres on the quotation.

Cloth for the Sharjah bay

DSZSFG only. Graphite cloth and plain fiberglass are comparisons on the guide, not the curtain this page is for.

Two ways the same bay uses the cloth

Hung as a curtain

The cloth divides a weld from the next bench. A light build is enough when the arc is not against the fabric. Al Sajaa shops often start here. The guide names the thickness.

Fixed as a heat shield

The cloth stays nearer the heat, so the GSM goes up and the coating may be on both sides. Industrial Area 10 is the example the guide uses. Do not price it as the light curtain.

UAE orders that look similar and are not

  • Jebel Ali stock

Silicon fire blankets, 1 by 2 metres, counted in pieces for an importer. Not a roll cut to a Sharjah bay.

  • Ruwais covers

DSZHIC on a hot fitting. The metal temperature has to be on that quotation because the cover listing prints none.

Naming Al Sajaa or Industrial Area 10 describes the bay. It does not say a free zone, a port, or a company there is a customer, and it is not an ADNOC or civil-defence approval.

Frequently asked questions

What is hanging in a Sharjah fabrication bay?

DSZSFG silicone-coated fiberglass cloth, ordered by the square metre. A curtain and a heat shield can be the same family and still be different lines, because the GSM and the coating sides change. The Sharjah cloth guide is where that choice is made.

Why is Industrial Area 10 not the same order as Al Sajaa?

Both are Sharjah fabrication. A light curtain in an Al Sajaa bay is not the heavier shield used where the cloth stays closer to the arc. The guide maps the bay to the build. This page only says they are not one quantity.

Can a Sharjah buyer order the Jebel Ali fire blanket instead?

Only if the job is stock, sold per piece at 1 by 2 metres. A bay curtain is roll cloth by the square metre. The letters DSZSFG appear on both. The unit on the quotation is how you tell them apart.

Does a Ruwais valve cover belong on a Sharjah curtain order?

No. Ruwais is DSZHIC on a pipe, valve, flange or equipment shell. Sharjah is cloth hung or fixed as a curtain or a shield. Square metres of cloth do not become a cover by changing the place name.

Where is the cloth made?

At the Darshan Safety Zone factory in Ahmedabad. There is no shelf, branch or warehouse in Sharjah, and none elsewhere in the UAE.

Do you state a day the cloth reaches Sharjah?

No. The quotation covers what leaves Ahmedabad. Freight and customs set the transit. Import duties and taxes are the buyer's.

Do you name a Sharjah free zone, port or company as a customer?

No. The page describes fabrication curtains and heat shields. It does not say that a named company, port or free zone buys the cloth, and it does not claim an ADNOC, civil-defence or marine approval.

What does a Sharjah quotation need?

DSZSFG, single side or both side when the guide asks, the square metres, and whether the bay is hanging a curtain or fixing a heat shield. Name Sharjah, not Jebel Ali, on that line.

Quote the Sharjah bay in square metres

Curtain or shield, then the DSZSFG build. Dispatch is from Ahmedabad. No Sharjah arrival day is stated.
