Does the tape stick by itself?
No. It is a wrap, not a peel-and-stick tape. Spiral it under tension and secure the ends the way the job needs — wire, lacing, or the tension of the overlap. We do not list an adhesive.
How do I put it on the line?
Clean and dry the pipe or the joint first. Spiral the tape so each turn overlaps the last by about a third of the 25 mm width. Keep the tension even. A loose turn is where heat gets through. Retire a roll that is torn, frayed or oily.
Is this ceramic fiber tape?
No. The coating is silicone on fiberglass. DSZSFG0.6 is listed at 550 °C to 900 °C. Ceramic fiber tape is a different product and runs hotter, to 1760 °C. Stay on this tape only when the line sits inside 550 °C to 900 °C.
Can I get a wider roll for a fat pipe?
The listed build is 25 mm × 20 m at 0.6 mm. The product is marked customizable. Send the width, the length or the kilograms you need, and we will confirm what we can supply. Do not assume another size is already on the shelf.
What if the line is only warm, or hotter than 900 °C?
Below 550 °C this tape is more than the job needs. Above 900 °C it is the wrong product. Read the band on DSZSFG0.6 and match it to the face of the line. A fitted cover, rather than a narrow wrap, is the heat insulation cover.
How long does a Kolkata or Howrah order take?
